We will depart on snowmobiles making our way down to participate in Ice-fishing on a frozen lake in the Arctic Circle.
Hopefully we will be lucky enough to catch some fish to bring back to barbeque over an open fire in the evening under the Northern lights as we see the New Year in. A traditional Swedish New Years Eve meal will be served. This is a unique New Years Eve day experience that you will remember for a lifetime!

01 January
The Swedes refer to News Years Day as Nyarsdagen. This morning will probably be a day that you rise late and would like to relax a little more than normal. In the afternoon we will venture out for a hike in the snow to a vantage point with a quaint traditional Swedish church that overlooks the frozen Arctic Lake Tornetrask. The evening will be spent Aurora hunting in yet another of our special spots in the nearby Abisko National Forest.

02 January
This morning will be free offering you your last opportunity to enjoy the serene beauty within the Arctic Circle at your leisure. Of course if you would like us to organise any extra local activities for you, your family and friends, we would be more than happy to arrange this for you at an additional fee.
Your last evening will be a gathering at a snowy destination within the Abisko National Forest where we can make snowmen while we wait for a final time to capture your last Aurora. Imagine yourself roasting marshmallows on an open fire under the star filled skies while we observe and capture the unique swirling Aurora rays.

03 January
Today will inevitably be a sad day when the realization dawns that you have to say your farewells and depart the Arctic Circle.
You will return home from your Arctic Circle experience on our 5 day Lapland New Year Experience Photo Tour with photos and memories that will last a lifetime.
